Branded work that is living strictly in the world of social media, generated for the clients’ own handles and avenues to elevate their brand via higher production and conceptual value.
VML global needed a content series for social media and youtube that drives higher emotional engagement with the brand, supporting their “Night Light” campaign. Under the idea 'Respect the Hustle', I set off to capture the authentic artistic risk and reward exhibited by each of the influencers/artists participating in the “Night Light” collaboration, and how they overcame their individual issues to find success.
I directed, shot and edited three stories in which the artist, imagery, and narrative came across as authentically, naturally and as credible as possible. It was a rare and welcome opportunity to shoot branded content where they don’t want their product in the forefront, and the results were story-forward pieces about human artistic experiences.
